The room boasts a massive bed that really pulls you in for a comfy night. The dog-friendly policy here sets it apart, allowing you to enjoy your stay without leaving your furry companion behind.
The layout of the place can be a bit cramped, with the heavy doors making it a hassle when lugging bags and dogs—definitely something to consider if you're traveling with more than just your essentials. The kitchen fan's placement means any cooking aromas drift right into the room. not ideal for those sensitive to smells. The room itself seemed slightly dated and could use an upgrade to fully enhance the experience. A mini fridge would also be a welcome addition for keeping drinks cool. The location is tucked away and has its charms, but if you're looking for vibrant nightlife, you might find the quiet evenings a little lacking.

The evening meal was exceptional, with the steak being a highlight. the creaky passage at night was quite disturbing for light sleepers like us.

Cozy stay with amazing food
We spent a night at this charming place. The breakfast was delish, with just a couple options but done perfectly. The room was comfy, though the bathroom was a tad small. The dinner was so good we went back every night! The bar closing early felt kinda odd, but overall, it was a good experience.

The Branwen's modern decoration was like a breath of fresh air, and the ease of access throughout the hotel was very considerate for us seniors. Everything felt so welcoming and comfortable, truly making it a delightful retreat.
More seating options in common areas would help.

Two nights spent in a lovely double room with a comfortable bed and beautiful decor, showcasing an eye for detail rather than bland standards. The breakfast was fantastic, with a good selection and local treats. The hosts were warm and engaging , though the bar closing at 9 PM was a bit disappointing, limiting evening relaxation options.
